As of January 1 2021, Sander Poel will take over from Peter Boom as Managing Director of IFS Nederland BV.

Sander has been working as Deputy Director at IFS for the past year to prepare for the new position. Before that, he worked for 15 years in various (commercial & management) positions within a large American corporate in the printing industry.

According to Sander, there is enormous potential in the retail industry: “IFS is very strong in supplying and maintaining end-of-line weighing-pricing and labeling lines, but we are taking it a step further. The industry is increasingly moving towards robotization and through our developments in the field of Visual control systems and Casepackers, we are able to take care of the entire end-of-line processing. This means that the customer only has one point of contact”.

Peter will remain involved within IFS Nederland BV as an advisor.
